Description
Areca's ARC-9200 RAID head offers new ROC (RAID on a Chip) 12 Gbit/s SAS features and support for SATA, SAS drives, as well as SSDs. It can be equipped with SAS, Fibre Channel, or iSCSI ports and manage up to 256 drives with a SAS expander. Each controller has two gigabytes DDR3-1600 RAM, expandable to eight gigabytes. Features include active/active, fail-over/fail-back operations, multi-pathing, load balancing, and optional flash backup and battery backup modules.
