Description
Areca's ARC-9200 RAID head offers ROC (RAID on a Chip) 12 Gbit/s SAS features, supporting SATA, SAS drives, and SSDs. It's configurable with SAS, Fibre Channel, or iSCSI ports and can manage up to 256 drives with SAS expanders. The controller includes 2GB DDR3-1600 RAM, expandable to 8GB. Features include active/active and fail-over/fail-back operation, multi-pathing, and load balancing. Flash backup and battery modules are retrofittable. Accessible via a browser-based interface and compatible utilities for various operating systems.
