Description
The Areca ARC-9200SD-DR1 RAID head requires only one height unit and offers new ROC (RAID on a Chip) 12 Gbit/s SAS features, supporting SATA and SAS drives as well as SSDs. It can be flexibly equipped with various host interfaces and can manage up to 256 drives with single controller models having two gigabytes of DDR3-1600 RAM installed, upgradable to eight gigabytes. Ensuring reliability with active/active operation, multi-pathing, and load balancing, it also supports flash and battery backup modules for data loss prevention.
